valen-tine 2-thousand-nine

mark took me to the rainbow lodge in houston for valentine's :). the restaurant is like a dream tree house for adults with a neat and cozy outdoor area. this place wins mark's "best restaurant atmosphere" award and that says a lot for someone with such high standards like mark!

mark had the bison tenderloin (the rainbow lodge specializes in game meat) and i had trout, which tasted very fresh. we also got "taste of the wild" as our appetizer and it was my first time trying rabbit...in sausage form.

overall critique: pretty atmosphere that makes you want to spend time with nature or go hunting. food is deliciously made with fresh ingredients but the chef loves salt so be prepared.
