my parents are visiting canada for the july 4th holiday and they sent me this picture which made me smile. my dad looks so young and youthful!

happy bah-bah's day

we took the best dad in the entire world to breakfast for father's day! we love him so much! he exemplifies what a servant to others looks like and i am blessed to be his daughter, whom he loves and cares for more deeply than she deserves :*)

3/4ths through her waffle, jen realizes the side of melted butter on her plate wasnt maple syrup....

and jen still wonders how i made a better grade in high school biology class! muahaha.

where's your paradise falls?

i'll try really hard to not hype up this movie but i think you should go and watch UP! there were so many times in the movie where i wanted to take a picture of the scene and post it all over my cubicle and bedroom - places i tend to daydream at the most. i also want to hug every single person who was somehow involved in the making of this movie! haha, anyways, it's a creative, cute, and heart-warming movie that i recommend to people of all ages.

i was called "outdoorsy"

i spontaneously went on a camping trip this past weekend and i had a blast hiking/exploring, hanging out with friends, and celebrating a birthday. more pictures here.

wanna be martha stewart

i subscribe to a few craft blogs through google reader and was recently inspired to try a few of the crafts. this flower took me forever to make and my fingers started cramping because the beads are tiny! regardless, this was the perfect gift to give to miss chen :).

I was also inspired to make this 3-D kirby out of a paper cut-out. i still think kirby is so cute and chubby!
